Dr. Lebowitz  previously practiced clinical endocrinology at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, where he earned the resident teaching award, and served as the Medical Quality Director at Crouse Hospital.

Currently, in addition to being the CMO at MAS, he is also the Medical Director at the Le Moyne Physician Assistant Program, an Endocrine Hospitalist and Diabetes Champion at Crouse Hospital, reviewer of medical malpractice cases and teaches a physician wellness course that has been recognized by a service award from the Onondaga County Medical Society. MAS welcomes Dr. Lebowitz medical practitioner expertise in MAS’ continual efforts to improve the Medicaid program.

Vincent Mavente is responsible for all MAS operations. He has held progressively more responsible roles in call center operations serving the New York State government for the past 20 years. Mavente worked in senior positions in outsourced call centers for ACS/Xerox managing, the NY Child Support Call Center and for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) managing Medicare Part D/NY Medicaid. Most recently he worked for a transportation authority overseeing sales and service of Medicaid transportation and various county programs.

Mr. Mavente brings the mature, thoughtful leadership needed  to provide consistent day-to-day service and to capably resolve the occasional crisis that can arise.

Russ Maxwell focuses on customer relations, business development and the company’s financial management.  He has over 20 years of progressive management experience in Medicaid transportation. Prior to founding MAS in 2004, Maxwell served seven years with Rural/Metro Ambulance culminating as the Group President responsible for working closely with state and local officials to improve the emergency and non-emergency ambulance service in upstate New York’s largest cities and suburbs.

Mr. Maxwell provides an ‘institutional knowledge’ of Medicaid transportation and an ever-evolving vision of what enhancements can be made to improve the Medicaid transportation experience of enrollees, medical practitioners and transportation providers.

Kim Taffner is responsible for all accounting and financial functions at MAS. She is responsible for the administration of MAS’ monthly management billing to New York State as well as the reimbursement vouchers MAS is required to file with the NYSDOH. Ms. Taffner came to MAS with an extensive background in accounting and business function analysis.

Jennifer Bartlett brings over 20 years of expertise in leading health care organizations’ efforts in clinical and operation quality assurance, Medicaid compliance, human resources, and HIPPA compliance and reporting.  Ms. Bartlett will lead a team of four MAS Directors overseeing Medicaid policy application, employee training, Medicaid transportation utilization review and quality assurance and reporting. A new addition to MAS senior management, Ms. Bartlett most recently held the position of Vice President and Chief Quality, Medicaid Compliance and Privacy Officer at the Rome Memorial Hospital, Rome NY.  Ms. Bartlett’s experience working with numerous types of Medical practitioners across upstate New York will deepen MAS understanding of medical practitioner’s perspective and needs from the NYSDOH Medicaid transportation program.
