How do I become a Non-Emergency Medicaid Transportation Provider?

Ensuring enrollees get to non-emergency medical care and other health services are not only MAS’ business, but part of its commitment to the communities it supports. From the extreme rural counties of NYS to the bustling urban cities, MAS secures an adequate network of transportation providers.
To become an enrolled NYS Medicaid Transportation Network Provider, follow the steps below.
- Complete the MAS Transportation Provider Network Application. opens a new window
- Upon submission of the MAS Transportation Provider Network Application opens a new window, the MAS Transportation Provider Relations team will review your application and determine if a letter of support will be provided.
- Once a letter of support is obtained from MAS, apply for Medicaid through Provider Enrollment with NYSDOH opens a new window
- An enrollment determination can take 90 days or longer. If you have questions about your application, please follow up with NYSDOH Provider Enrollment opens a new window directly.
- Once Provider Enrollment approval is achieved and you have received your confirmation letter, please contact your MAS Transportation Provider Relations Team to discuss the process of joining the NYS Medicaid Transportation Provider Network, which includes MAS contract network requirements.
